There are many reasons why you would want to copy your PS3 games. There are now programs made that will help you complete this process. Numerous program applications are available but one should be used that doesn’t require you to add a modchip to your PS3. This is a modification to the system and will void your warranty. There are much easier applications to help you backup your PS3 games.

The PS3 burn software programs are fairly quick, easy and straightforward. For the most part, you put your PS3 game disk into your computer drive and then open the program. Once you open the program, you will be able to copy the game disc and specify where to save it on your computer. After the disc is copied, you will insert the blank disc and copy the saved files onto the empty disc. This process usually take less than a half of an hour.

Do not forget that the PS3 runs on Blu-ray discs and not regular CD’s or DVD’s. Also, do not try to sell your copied game for a profit. This is illegal, unethical, and you may be prosecuted. A good reason for copying your PS3 game is to preserve the original game disc so that you are offered a higher sell back fee.
